sharing, exchange and other activity. We are currently working on the
agenda, so stay tuned for more details. Meanwhile, we would love your

This event is being held in the classroom space of the Eastern Holistic Center. The entry is to the immediate right of the main street entrance for Sprint Copy Center. There are stairs leading to the loft. We regret that the meeting room is upstairs and may limit some of youwho have mobility challenges. We are currently seeking other, more accessible, spaces.

Hello Food Activists (Foodies?)
We want to activate and reinvigorate the Food Group of Transition Sebastopol. We feel that food is one of the most important areas for
us to be engaged in when looking toward the future. The Food Group had the most people express interest in and have ideas around during all
of our initial Transition meetings so we know this is an area people want to work in. Our vision is to have a solid core of people working
on food issues as a part of Transition's movement toward a resilient and abundant future. We hope you will join us.
Our agenda will focus on brainstorming what we see as needed in the West County Food System and where we are excited to work and take on a
project. Though this is similar to what we have done in past larger meetings, we hope to really focus and organize our ideas to help find
clarity of where we will best be of service. We will work with prioritizing ideas and find some things we can begin working on. A
longer term goal will be to develop the vision of what that resilient and abundant future would look like.

Seasons Greetings Transitioners --
Here's hoping for a joyous holiday season for you and your family.
Please join Transition Sebastopol as it celebrates the completion of its first year with a holiday mixer on Wednesday, December 16, 5:30 – 7:30 PM, at 707 Pizza Vino, on the Sebastopol Plaza at 6948 Sebastopol Ave. (the old "Lucy's" and "West County" restaurant location). We will be gathering in the upstairs area near the entrance.
Please feel free to drop in, have a glass of wine (or two) and chat with other people interested in Transition. This is an informal meeting without an agenda other than just having fun. We might make a (very) brief presentation of where things stand with Transition Sebastopol after it's first year.

Give others the greatest gift you have--YOU! In this gathering we will come together in heartful presence to acknowledge and facilitate a living antidote to the busy, consumer-driven holiday around us. There will be a sacred space meditation followed by a sharing circle. Bring something that truly expresses YOU and your gifts--a song, poem, dance, story, artwork, anything that expresses your unique heart and soul! (please limit to 3 minutes) Or just come and simply be the gift that you are!
In the spirit of supporting deeper community and a gifting economy, there will also be an opportunity to ask for what you need and to share what you have.
Bring a holiday treat for sharing afterwards!
