The TRANSITION ART BRIGADE is currently meeting twice monthly at Sequoia Village Cohousing. We have created a Transition Style event banner for the August 21, the event date, and are now ready to create some short performance pieces for the summer leading up to and at the event. Performance artists, musicians, poets needed for these.

Visual artists are invited to submit Transition-related art to be shown at several exhibit locations during the month of August. Recycled materials, art from trash, or topics that relate to community-building, relocalization, sustainability, resource conservation, etc., are solicited. Join us at the above time or be in touch with Satri Pencak, at spencak@yahoo.com for info on entering the exhibits. Professionals, amateurs, youngsters are all invited to participate.

If afternoon meetings do not work for you, and if you're interested in participating, please email Alexandra at ahart[at]sonic.net or phone 707-827-3781.

We are also looking for help in managing the group details -- need volunteers!
