Food Preserving and Lacto-Fermentation Basics

Location: 1965 Gravenstein Hwy. S., Sebastopol.

Cost: $15

Learn the basics of home canning and preserving while making a batch of pickles.  Also learn the basics of lacto-fermentation whilemaking a simple sauerkraut (samples will be on hand to demonstrate each stage in the process).

 

Session #2 of the Homesteading Weekend Workshop all day Saturday 9-6 pm and Sunday 9-4 pm.  (Pay individually per session or full-weekend: $70. Ask about family discounts)
